I have successfully installed the driver and the Cardio PC Link software. The problem is that when I connect my Pulse meter to the computer USB port the COM port number on the PC is from COM 16 to COM 20. This happens on both Windows XP and Windows Vista computers. The software itself uses only ports from COM 1 to COM 12. How can I define the Pulse meter to use only ports from COM 1 to COM 12? Is there a newer version of the software available (one that can use bigger port numbers)?

Unfortunately, there isn't a newer version of the software and from what it seems, the application has been discontinued and it is no longer supported. In order to solve the issues, press the Windows + R key combination, type devmgmt.msc and click OK. Expand the Ports (COM & LPT) list, right-click a communication port from the list and select Properties. Open the Port Settings tab, press the Advanced button and from the COM Port Number drop-down list, select one from COM 1 to COM 12.
